What’s the condition of your old models? This video takes a look at a build from the 1980s, the 1:20 scale Williams FW07 from Tamiya, and how some of it has deteriorated while other areas have held up exceptionally well.
The original kit can build Alan Jones or Clay Regazzoni versions from the 1979 Formula One season, but can also do a couple of the opening races from 1980 (Jones or Carlos Reutemann).
My opinion, Tamiya did an excellent job of capturing the shape and much of the detail of this Ford-Cosworth powered Grand Prix car. The kit has tremendous scope for super detailing.
